Beds
Our collection of handmade beds is timeless in design and second to none when it comes to comfort. We believe that not only should your bed be superbly comfortable, but it should be made to last. The bed range includes classic hand-studded pieces, such as our Fulham and Sloane designs, and also more modern designs with show wood frames, like our Belsize and Kingsley. We also have a wonderful collection of hand-tufted, hand-sprung, natural, organic, and tailor-made mattresses, all exuding pure comfort and luxury.
Headboards
Our collection of beds, headboards, and mattresses completely reflects our belief that designs should be well-made and comfortable. Particular attention is paid to the beautifully polished wooden frames, soft tufted panels, and carefully aligned hand-studded details.
Cabinet Furniture
We have been hand-crafting cabinet furniture for over 25 years: it started with a beautifully finished Walnut side table and has now developed into a classic collection of standard cabinetry pieces and a bespoke design service. We have a great team of cabinet makers who, when not frame making, like nothing more than to make bookcases, dining tables, side tables, and much more. We offer over 36 different wood finishes and can also match your wood sample, so your furniture fits in perfectly.
Armchairs
Exquisite comfort is built into all our armchairs, from the solid frame construction that creates the perfect seat to the soft padded upholstery that produces our unique tailored finish. All armchair designs can be made to any size, and you have a choice of fillings, so your chair is the most comfortable chair you’ll ever purchase.
Dining Chairs
Did you know we were the first chair maker to make a “dinner party” dining chair? The idea being that these dining chairs are so comfortable that you keep dinner guests and their conversation around the dining table all night. Since then, we have designed over 20 chairs that can be used for both formal and informal dining. Given that we make to order, your dining chairs can be made to our standard sizes, or they can be made to a specific height so they fit perfectly with your table.
Occasional Chairs
Over the last 50 years, we have become renowned for creating comfort, each design has been rigorously tested to ensure the seat is perfectly comfortable. The collection of smaller chairs is no different from our sofas and larger upholstered armchairs, they are all unique in design and sumptuously comfortable.
Wing Chairs
The Wing chair collection includes some of the finest traditional bench-made upholstered furniture in the UK. This collection aims to showcase some of the most traditional furniture-making skills from natural loose, curled hair upholstery to fine detailing and hand carving. Every wing chair is handmade to order, like all our furniture, but the time taken to hand carve and the uniqueness of their design make these wing chairs real investment pieces.
Chaise Longue
The chaise lounge style has an elegant look and a traditional feel. With its elongated and comfortable design, chaise lounges have become synonymous with relaxation and luxury. Our collection of handmade chaise lounges can be positioned in a corner of a living room, long hallway, or sun-soaked spot in a conservatory. The chaise lounge offers a versatile and stylish seating option, and our team of skilled artisans can tailor-make any design to suit your space.
Cushions
Immerse yourself in true comfort with our collection of luxuriously handmade cushions. We offer a handmade cushion and scatter cushion service with a range of fillings, including our renowned Featherluxe, pure feather and down, 100% pure down, or soft fibre. All fillings can be interchanged and suited to your needs.
Mirrors
Mirrors are wonderful things to place in a room, they can bounce light around dark spaces or be a centre point for any room they sit in. You may wish to panel a room or form a doorway, mirrors can be extremely versatile, and we can make them to your preferred size to suit. We have a collection of beautiful standard designs, but our mirror-making is flexible; you can choose your dimensions, wood finish, or painted finish, and the type of mirrored glass.
Ottomans
Ottomans can be used at the end of the bed for storage or in the centre of a lounge to place your favourite books on. All our ottoman designs are available in 3 standard sizes, along with bespoke sizes upon request. We offer a soft cushion top, which is great for putting your feet upon, or a firm top, which is still comfortable but firm enough to allow you to place drink trays down safely. We also offer a range of handmade trays to compliment our ottomans, a perfect combination.
Sofas
We pride ourselves on the unrivalled comfort of our handmade sofas. Over the last 50 years, we have created a range of sofas which are exquisitely made and beautifully proportioned. We can change our design, size, cushion type, and style, we can even hand-make tailored fitted covers. Our aim is, and will always be, to make great classic sofas you will love forever.
Bar Stools
Our collection of stools has been designed to provide both maximum comfort and style. Each design is available as a dressing table stool, occasional stool, kitchen stool, and bar stool. We can make any of our stools to any height, so it is a perfect fit for your space. The footrests can also be changed upon request, depending on the finish you’re looking for

Victoria James Collection
Established over 20 years ago, Victoria James, produces the most exquisite acrylic furniture available in the world today. Working with acrylic is complex, but the results are outstanding. We produce a small collection of tables and consoles, however, all can be customised to your size so each design is a perfect fit. Our designers can work with you to create a unique design or you can provide your own design that we will make for you.
